OpenTTD
OpenTTD is an online business simulator game where players attempt to make money by traveling and transporting freight and passengers through land, sea, air and by road. It's an open-source recreation and expansion of the popular 1994 game Transport Tycoon Deluxe, which itself was an open-sourced recreation and upgrade of the original Adventure Game Engine (AGE) game from Sun Microsystems. In a nutshell, the goal of OpenTTD, or "Open Transport", is to create a simulation environment whereby the player can interact with the virtual world through creating, managing, and even selling their own freight. While there are a number of different kinds of simulators available today, none can compare with OpenTTD for its wide variety of features and its ability to interact and grow with the game. OpenTTD allows players to create and manage their own railroad network, handle freight and passengers, and purchase the best routes from one city to another. Not only this, but the game also includes several other features, such as support for custom scenery, which allows players to change the appearance of their trains and other vehicles based on their personal preferences. OpenTTD can be downloaded for free from its official website, and after downloading, it is then necessary to install it. The installation process is easy, however, there are a few steps that may need a little bit of guidance before the installation process is completed. It is important to note, however, that although the installation process is fairly simple, there are a few things that may need to be done on a specific computer. It is recommended to use the OpenTTD installer on a separate computer, particularly if the OpenTTD installation process does not work properly on the primary computer. After the installation process is completed, it is important to install and run the main game, which is normally called "Tropical", and then load the game onto the secondary computer. Once the main game is loaded, the secondary computer should be set up with OpenTTD on it and then, with the game active, it is necessary to configure the game settings in order to get the most out of it. This will allow the players to experience the game as if they were actually playing in real life. In the initial setup of the OpenTTD system, it is recommended to make certain that the game uses the same settings as is used in the main game, or else the player will not be able to enjoy the realistic experience that is offered by the game.
